Exotic Car gear Inc. or ExoticCarGear.com holds no responsibility either implied or otherwise for mechanical, electrical or other failure when using after market performance products. Items listed as illegal, may be so in many states and only suited for racing vehicles which may never be used on a public highway. Ordering Procedure: The Exotic Car, Carbon Fiber market is currently one of the hottest car accessory markets on the planet. At Exotic Car Gear Inc. we strive to make our entire inventory available to you as a customer. Exotic Car Gear Inc. has one of the largest inventories of Carbon fiber specific parts than anyone else in the USA. Parts turnover is quick and inventory can be difficult to regulate in our market. We strive to fill all of our orders directly. If you have placed an order and the product is not in-stock or you have ordered a specialty, special order item. Your order request will be placed in immediate production. Production orders can take 4-6 weeks for delivery. However if you order from us and a problem occurs, these are the steps to follow. If you order a product, your credit card is charged immediately as stated above. We will notify you the status of the order and the product availability. If you choose to cancel the order after the same day we received or not during business hours when the order has been processed, a 5% cancellation fee will be charged and the remaining amount will be credited back to you. Shipping Procedure: The Shipping Rate displayed at time of checkout our dimensional rate only. If your shipment weight is too much, contact us for a shipping quote. If there is an error in the shipping rate quoted we will contact you and let you know of the changes. International orders (Outside the USA) are not automatically processed as we may require additional information from you. Recipient phone numbers are required on all International orders and domestic orders over S499.00 All shipping damage must be reported to the courier at the time of delivery. Any shipping damage concern or claims the recipient must retain the original parcel package for inspection and or collection from the courier. NO damage claim will not be honored or investigated after 7 days of the receipt of the shipment. All products shipped from the Exotic Car Gear Inc. warehouse are shipped via FedEx or Freight and require a signature when delivered. Some packages shipped from the manufacturer may or may not require signatures for package release. FedEx, UPS, and DHL have package pick up locations if you are unable to sign for the package. Return Procedure: If a product is ordered and not wanted, the UNUSED item can be returned for a 15% restocking fee. Shipping is not refundable in either direction. All items requesting to be return MUST be reported within 30 days of the original invoice date. No items will be returnable after 30 days. If the package is returned to Exotic Car Gear Inc. or manufacturer, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs and pay a 15% restocking fee. These fees will be charged to your account on file. EXOTIC CAR GEAR DOES NOT REFUND SHIPPING CHARGES. If you modify, install, or alter the item in any form, we cannot accept it as a return. Special order and Custom produced and finished items are non-refundable.
Special Order Items: Some items may be special order specifically for a Customers vehicle. These items generally require a deposit or paid in full. Once this deposit amount is notified to the customer and they agree to order the special order item, the deposit becomes non-refundable. These special order items cannot be returned or resold. Cancellations are not allowed on special order parts. Payment Terms: Exotic Car Gear Inc. accepts Credit Cards, PayPal Payments, BillMeLater Financing, Cashier Checks, and Bank Transfers with appropriate billing and shipping addresses to be verified. All orders are to be paid in full at the time of purchase unless we contact you otherwise. Prices and shipping cost is subject to change anytime because of exchange rates, shipping costs, manufacturer price changes, etc. Balance must be paid in full for all ordered requiring deposits for purchase including Special Orders. Warranty Exotic Car Gear and its affiliates warrants our product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year form the original invoice date. Shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer. The manufacturer agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair and defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packing, return postage, and insurance which will be incurred by the customer). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase as confirmed by showing the model number on original dated sales receipt. Exotic Car Gear is not responsible for product failures or failures due to installation. Certain products are intended for race use only as suggested by the manufacturer and should be installed and set up by professional service centers ONLY. As stated above we are not responsible for shipping cost other than by our own mistake of incorrect shipping. Any item that is altered or changed from its original state without the consent of the manufacture and or Exotic Car Gear Inc., will not be able to be returned or receive warranty support. The warranty of a product is facilitated by Exotic Car gear inc. who reserves the right to deny coverage. By law, a dealership is not allowed to void a warranty based upon having aftermarket parts installed on a car. When you add an aftermarket part to the car, the aftermarket part will void the warranty of ONLY the stock part it is replacing. In a Consumer Alert issued by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the agency confirmed that “The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for companies to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty simply because you used an aftermarket part.” The alert outlines key provisions in the law that provides protections to car owners. As defined by the FTC, an “aftermarket’ part is a part made by a company other than the vehicle manufacturer or the original equipment manufacturer.” “The FTC’s reference to aftermarket parts is equally applicable to specialty parts,” said Russ Deane, SEMA’s General Counsel. “Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, the warranty cannot be conditioned to a specific brand of parts, services or vehicle modifications unless those parts or services are provided free of charge.” The alert notes that a consumer has the right to patronize independent retail stores and repair shops for parts and service without fear of voiding the new car warranty. The dealer/vehicle manufacturer has the right to deny a warranty repair but they must demonstrate that the aftermarket part caused the problem.
